Disclaimer: The babysitter has come to claim them all!!! *evil cackle* Ah? Hm, oh! Heh.. ^^;; I'm not stealing the G-boys, I'm just babysitting them for a while, okies? Okay, this started with the idea for the G-boys to have lived a normal life. Then I realized there were a lot of those fics around. So? I like reading those types of stories! But just to add an additional twist, the G-girls are in here too. Only a little bit of 3+4 right now. The takes place in Relena's view. A nice Relena story... *gasp* Yare, yare... nice everyone, hopefully. AU, OOC, and the likes. Helado High : teaser Shamera sitafire@hotmail.com Relena walked to school slowly, tilting her head up to the sky and just enjoying the sunshine. High school. Helado High, even. The thought no longer terrified her. Although she was only halfway through her freshman year, she had made many friends and had gained the respect from all her teachers. With her steady grades and calm attitude, she had easily been assimulated into the ranks of popularity as a natural-born leader type. Almost the entire school held her in a small point of respect. The sound of a bicycle skidding next to her pulled her out of her memories. "Heya, ojosan!" The voice was carefree, happy and contented to the brim. Relena leaned her head away from the sky and smiled pleasently at Duo Maxwell. Her slow pace continued, with Duo walking his bike besides her. "Good morning, Duo. How are you today? No plans of sending anyone to the hospital today, I hope?" Duo grinned at her and tilted his black baseball cap. They were both wearing their respective school uniforms which were the colors of navy and white. "I'm hurt you'd actually think I do that on purpose, ojosan!" He said, mocking horror. "It's been months since that lab accident." She rolled her eyes, deliberately not pointing out all the little 'accidents' that had happened since then. It never hurt anyone, but there was always a loud BANG when Duo was in lab. But she let him have his fun. As different as the two were, she respected how Duo was held in high regard from the school. Although she was always taken aback by his brash attitude, she had gotten to know the young man before she judged him. Duo lived at an orphanage ever since he was a while, but had still managed to get into this posh high school and was getting fair grades. She was slightly envious of how he could take life in stride and be able to work in way up, as he was envious of how she had been born into a rich family and high position. "Duo!" Both students stopped and looked back to see Hilde run of behind them. It was no secret that Hilde had a crush on Duo, but then, so did half the school. The only one it was a secret to, however, seemed to be Duo. He took all his admirers in stride and did shameless flirting whenever possible, but he had always been a little protective of Hilde. In Relena's eyes, it wasn't so much as liking her as to treating her like a younger sister. "Hey Hilde!" Duo called out cheerfully. He waved back at her and the two of them waited patiently for the girl to catch up. "I'm very sorry about being late," Hilde explained when they started walking to school again. "But I got into a big arguement with mom when she was fingering the template to make me join OZ. She said that a young lady in this day and age should know how to fight." She wrinkled her noise up. "I said I hated the idea. I may be a bit reckless, but I'm not a tomboy!" Duo ruffled her hair good-naturedly. "Good for you!" Relena just smiled distantly. She had great friends... "Hey, look, it's Quatre and Trowa!" Relena looked up at the huge school which was getting closer and closer. Indeed, it was the two that Hilde was talking about, sitting under the shade of a tree and talking. The two were also Relena's friends, her being able to sympathize with Quatre and his rich family, and admiring Trowa like she did Duo, him also crawling from a low position to where he was today. Those two had gotten together two months after school started and was still going strong- which was really something considering how busy the high school was and the amount of others who had tried to woo Quatre from Trowa. At Hilde's exclaimation, the two looked up and smiled at the approching trio. Duo had stopped his bike a short distance from the tree, so that way they could all talk. "Ohayo, Relena-sama, Duo-kun, Hilde-chan." Quatre pipped up cheerfully. Trowa only smiled hesitantly and gave a nod in greeting, but no one was insulted by the lack of response since that was the most he ever gave to anyone with the exception of Quatre. "Oi, Relena-sama, Dorothy-san's waiting for you in the library. She said that the two of you had an history report to work on." Relena smiled and rolled her eyes. "That would be Dorothy. That report isn't due until next week, and she wants to work on it now..." Duo chuckled from besides her. "Aa, but she's a good student, ne? I'd probably wait for the last day and then start on that report." "Yeah, right." Hilde broke in. "You'd wait till you were in class before writing two pages of worthless babble that might or might not impress the teachers." Duo's cheeky grin made everyone burst into laughter. "I still pass the classes, don't I?" He asked innocently. Hilde shook her head. "Only you, Duo. Only you." <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> "Aren't you glad to have study hall for first period?" Relena dropped her books heavily on the table and gave a weak glare to Dorothy. Their study group of five consisted of her, Dorothy, Meiran, Wufei, and Noin. Which, of course, urked Wufei to no ends. "Considering this is the only class everyone has together, I'm not sure to feel glad or sad." Relena snapped. Oh, the morning was nice until one of the teachers figured that Relena should be given harder work because of her title. Things like that always annoyed her to no end. Meiran rolled her eyes warily, and tossed back her long, black hair. "I actually think that it would be nice if *he* weren't here." she glared at Wufei. "Onna!" He retorted, also dropped his books on the desk. "You think I actually want to be stuck with a group of weak onna like- hey! Leggo, you-" "Shut your mouth!" Meiran snapped as she dragged Wufei away by the ear. "You overbearing males are the only bad thing about this school. Why can't you be like the other boys around here- actually being nice?!" "Oh, would the two of you stop fighting?" Noin asked desperately. She looked very tired, although that could be because it was morning. "We *do* have to finish this report," Dorothy added, oddly calm for the moment. She was the only at the table who was sitting down, with a pen in her hand. "Will the lovebirds get in on *later*? This isn't time for fore- play." "It's not foreplay!" They both retorted in unison. "If it's not, then quit it already!" Noin snapped. She gestured to another table with a tilt of her head. "We're in serious compatition here. As the smartest of the school, Wufei, it wouldn't be _justice_ if you lost to Duo's team." Wufei grumbled while Meiran's head perked up. Although Wufei was concerned about justice, Meiran was absolutely obsessed with it. The Chinese girl stole a glance at their opposing team. Duo was happily talking to Hilde, with Sally quiety conversing to Quatre about the reports. With only four people there, there was no way they could lose to that team. "Fine." She admitted reluctantly. "I'll make sure that we both work." She gave Wufei a hard glare. "Good." Dorothy said, "Because Socrates isn't going to wait for us." She pointed to the amount of books on their desk. "We don't even have enough to write a bibliography." "Blame that on Duo." Noin grumbled. "He's gone beserk mode again. I've checked all the libraries within the city. I mean *the city*. Not just this town. All the books are long gone. The only chance we've got is the internet- and although most of the information is on the internet, we don't get as much points without the bibliography." "I don't understand why we have only a week between the report and the trial. Shouldn't we have more time to get in character?" Relena asked, a bit exasperated at the short amount of time. "This isn't Honors for nothing." Dorothy replied. Relena sat down heavily besides Dorothy. "Doesn't mean I like it." "You don't have to like it. We have one week before the report, and two weeks before the trial. Like doesn't matter as long as we win this." Relena made a face. "You're being too prideful." Noin smirked as she also say down, then burying her face amoung the books. "There's always a matter of pride where Duo chooses to to involved." "Aa, you like to make things so much harder for him, don't you?" she asked, frowning softly. Um, might continue, might not. *shrugs* Donno. End teaser.
